Gotta get down on Friday

Today in class we just had a study hall, watched Squints get the girl in The Sandlot, worked on our Humanities reading, or just decompressed after AP testing. Enjoy the break in class today, friends! Back to work on Monday. But this weekend, give yourself time to relax, breathe, and enjoy the sunshine.

Yeah right. Like anyone's lounging in a dress.
We are going to finish our last week of curriculum with a dive into the world of jazz, blues, and rock and roll, as well as a little film at the end of the week. We so excited! In honor of our exploration into more modern music, here's a Tiny Desk Concert (creds to NPR) by one of my favorite artists from last year, Leon Bridges. Bridges pulls inspiration from 60's blues, with the voice of an angel to match.

Don't forget that your Humanities reading over jazz is due on Monday. This weekend could also be a good one to take care of your Humanities Experiences (with two forms of proof)!

Have the BEST weekend! You guys rock.
