On and on til the break of dawn...

How you react when you go back and re-read your essay.
It's 'bout that Essay Life, son!
Whoo! How's everybody feeling? I often worry that, for you all, prepping for an essay feels like getting prepared to face a firing squad. It really shouldn't feel like that. You know about this stuff than you realize and, oftentimes, you're better at this than you give yourself credit. I think we all get bogged down in worrying about "correct formats" and nonsense like that. Just focusing on answering the question in the clearest and most complete way possible, and you're going to be golden.
You've got to remember, however, if you don't know what you're talking about, all the fancy writing in the world ain't gonna help you.

Look to tomorrow's blog post for more tips on how to dominate in the arena of essay writing.

That's right! Bring it on!
Here's how we do...
Here's what we're looking at the rest of this week:
TUES:  CE
             Ch. 10-12 of TFA
             Continue writing practice
WED:   IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG... ESSAY TIME, SON!
THU:    CE
             WHAP p.760-761 due
             TFA ch. 13-20 due
FRI:     Cool stuff about science and philosophy
Practice sweet, sweet dance moves to dazzle folks at the Jasper Formal tomorrow night

I honor of all the amazing wordsmithing you're going to do with your essay on Wednesday and your need to practice your sick moves for Saturday's dance, I think we'll focus on old school hip-hop this week in our soundtrack feature.
First up out of the gate is one of my favorite tracks of all time, regardless of genre. This was the lead single of the album, 3 Years, 5 months & 2 Days in the Life Of... by Arrested Development. It came out my junior year of college (1992). I pretty much wore out this cassette tape.
Enjoy Tennesse
